Project Leader, Project Manager, Product Development Leader
Location– Commutable from Beverley, Barton, Brough, Cottingham, Driffield, Hessle, Howden, Hull, Goole, Grimsby, Market Weighton, Scunthorpe, York.
Salary and Benefits

Company Information
My client is a leading manufacturer of innovative products for the domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors. The company are well established and have other sites across the UK. They are at the forefront of innovation and are always looking for product improvements and launching new product ranges. Due to this, they are looking to recruit a new Project Leader to join the company.
You must have the following:
•5+ Years in NPD Project Management experience, or a design engineer wanting to take on more PM responsibility
•Business systems knowledge (MS Project, SAP, Sharepoint/Project Online, MS Office)
•Knowledge of 3D CAD (Creo / Siemens NX) would be advantageous
•Typically, have gained experience through either apprenticeship or higher education, i.e. HND, degree, masters
•Good interpersonal skills, ability to build trust with stakeholders and cross functional team, a good communicator and ability to deliver results through others.
Role:
The successful candidate will be required to deliver new products within the client's product portfolio. The right candidate will lead a cross functional team to deliver exciting new products to the market. They will be accountable for and have ownership of delivery of new products from kick off to project closure. This could be multiple smaller projects to complex large projects, delivering to time, cost and quality measures developed by them and their cross functional team.
Key Duties:
•Successfully own, lead and deliver entire projects in terms of quality, time and cost
•Accountable for translating requirements into tangible deliverables guided by global process
•Introduce change, driving local improvement and best practice
•Leads by example in using fact–based decision making, achieving timely consensus within the team, and avoiding over–analysis
•Risk management and mitigation, reporting at appropriate time to key stakeholders
•Supporting operations with Product enhancements & efficiency improvements
•Challenge project teams to achieve innovative solutions. Is willing and successful in taking moderate risk.
•Is influential but remains open to all sides, with focus on the resolution.
•Acts as a behavioural role model for the local team.
