Client Details
My client is a large Public Sector organisation based in South Wales
Description
Our client is a large public sector organisation that has a direct impact on every person in Wales.
Due to excessive workloads, my client requires 2 internal auditors to help get through their Audit plan.
Working as part of a well established team, you will complete end to end audits as per the Audit plan.
You will plan, organise and complete your allocated audits whilst reporting to the Head of Internal Audit. You will be expected to work with some autonomy and be able to work to a high standard.
The majority of the Audits will be complex operational or service line Audits, but not restricted exclusively to that.
Profile
You will be a Seasoned Internal Auditor, ideally with Public Sector experience.
Ideally you will hold a CCAB qualification or IIA.
It would be advantageous if you had advanced Disclosure Scotland clearance, although this is not essential
You will be able to work as part of a team and on your own to a very high standard.
Job Offer
an initial 6 month assignment.
Salary up to £230 per day paye or £300 per day through an umbrella company.
All home based work. There may be the odd occasion that you need to go to the office to meet a client
