**Part-Time Financial Controller required. 3 days per week - £55-60k pro rata**
We are looking for a talented financial controller to form part of the senior management team for this well-established family friendly organisation. Due to an impending retirement, the opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, thorough, and diligent financial controller to join the team.
Heading up a small team of clerks your remit will be to lead and manage the department to ensure accurate and timely management accounts are produced monthly, and to ensure that the board are up to date on all matters financial. Your duties will include:
· Providing financial reporting and analysis to support the management team in controlling business performance
· Preparation of month end management accounts
· Cash flow management
· Budgeting and forecasting
· Maintenance and development financial procedures and business controls to ensure company assets are safeguarded
· Ensuring that Report information is accurate and that the company complies with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements
The ideal candidate will be qualified or qualified by experience. You will have a significant amount of experience operating at a similar level and be keen to enjoy a long and prosperous career with the business. It is essential that you have good technology skills and are able to communicate with both financially and non-financially minded member of the business. You will have excellent time management skills and have a positive approach to your work life.
