Our client an iconic Heritage Brand Retailer based in North London and looking to recruit a Head of Finance who will be responsible for running the finance department and working closely with and reporting directly to the Financial Director. This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting business with exposure to a broad range of responsibilities and the long term potential for the candidates looking to make a move into the no. 1 role.
This is a key role within the business involving aligning the objectives and priorities of the Finance department and the overall objectives of the board. The role requires a driven and results orientated leader able to identify opportunities for improvements in systems, processes, and controls in order to drive the continued growth of the business. You will commercialise the business through analytics, create KPIs and strategic metrics with in turn will help run the business. The Head of Finance will have a strong relationship with senior management and the board.

The ideal candidate must have:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA).
- A proven track record in managing and developing a small finance team.
- A background in retail or hospitality sector is preferable but not essential.
- Be proactive and entrepreneurial with exceptional interpersonal skills, and be a skilled communicator.
- Ability to mentor and motivate the finance team.
- Have prior experience sorting out systems and processes to professionalise the finance function and team is a must.
