Group Accounting Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) who has 1-2 years post-qualified experience within industry to join a specialised Commodities Trading Firm. This is and exciting opportunity which offers a wide array of responsibilities covering financial reporting, process management and commercial analysis of the business unit.

Reporting into the Finance Director your responsibilities will include:
- Financial reporting: annual prep of group holding consolidations and other subsidiary accounts.
- Responsible for technical accounting queries and potential IFRS conversions.
- Monthly Accounting: Prep on of management accounts and monthly reporting on intercompany, products, non-trade activities and overheads.
- Financial Planning & Controls: supporting quarterly budget process, monthly cashflow, indirect tax processes, completion of annual controls and group submission.

The ideal candidate:
- Up to 3 years post qualified experience in a financial services or Big 4 Environment.
- Strong financial accounting experience and working in multi-current environment.
- System experience of Navision, SAP and Cognos.
