Maxegan Recruitment are currently seeking an Senior Applications Business Analyst for an exciting permanent opportunity based in a leading client in Manchester.

Within the role, you will be a reporting directly into the Global Head of Applications, managing the integration of all non-SAP applications within the business.

Within the position, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Non-SAP Application management
• Be the bridge between the business and the 3rd party SI - understanding how the applications work to ensure that the 3rd party are being advised what needs fixing, and that it is carried out correctly
• Constantly challenge the status quo, whilst being fully accountable for your area
• Give solutions to problems, not problems to solutions
• Build a long-standing strategic roadmap for non-SAP applications
• Build the reputation of the team outside the business in the wider market
• Working with teams remotely on other continents, and manage from that global perspective, building a strong virtual remote relationship, where you become the go-to
• Define and imbed better ways of working within the team
• Rolling up your sleeves and getting involved when you need to

The primary skills, knowledge and experience required for this Senior Applications Business Analyst piece of work are:

• A good knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2 - 2012 and beyond - they are mid-transformation and over the next 18 months there will be a migration to Azure
• Windows 10 Desktop Troubleshooting/diagnosis Knowledge
• Data Integration tools knowledge - SOAP, AS2, Web Services etc
• SQL Server/Oracle understanding - don't need to code or config, just have the database understanding
• Azure is desirable, but can be trained
• Experience with Supply Chain Applications are highly desirable, or Business relevant applications
• Understanding architecturally how applications work together
• Someone with Accountability, Prioritisation and Ownership
• Strong Stakeholder communications, influence and engagement
• Strategic thinking - build a strategic long standing roadmap for non-SAP applications
• Supplier and vendor management - understand services and know when they are trying to pull the wool over your eyes
• Positivity, self starter, driven, entrepreneurial, full accountability and ownership
• Business facing leadership
