Data/BI Business Analyst - 6 month contract

Transition Partners are currently recruiting for a key consultancy client who are on the lookout for a Contract Technical Business Analyst to join their growing team. This will be an initial 6 months contract with a view to extend. The role will be remote but will require some travel to South Yorkshire if restrictions are lifted in the New Year.

Please note, the end client is a government body; therefore, you are required to have previous experience of working within the public sector and are eligible to go through relevant security checks.

Responsibilities will include;

• Capturing businesses requirements and creating user stories
• Working very closely with the data engineering team to relay the requirements
• Working very closely with the delivery managers and projects teams to support the project of delivering the data pipelines
• Carrying out data analysis and data mapping

Skills needed;

• Prior experience of working in a public sector - government based clients
• Extensive experience of working on data-related projects, predominantly focusing on data pipelines or data warehouse
• Strong analytics approach and ability to carry out data analysis and mapping
• Experience of working within a crossfunctional team in an Agile environment
• Client facing experience is a big bonus

Please note, due to the client's nature, we will only be able to consider the candidates with the previous public sector background and experience of working on Data/BI/DWH projects.

Working Hours; 40 Hours per week
