Finance Manager

A multi–national mining company are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team in their London office.

About the Company
A multi–national mining company headquartered in London are looking for a Finance Manager to join their Finance team.

As a Finance Manager you will be reporting into the Group Controller and be working closely with the Finance team to achieve the desired results in line with expectations.

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:

Preparation of quarterly IFRS consolidations
Accounting support to the operations and exploration functions
Current and deferred tax preparation on a quarterly basic
Review of monthly reporting from mine sites/exploration
Management of monthly intercompany reconciliations
Ad hoc and special projects, as required.Requirements of the Finance Manager:

Chartered Accountant or equivalent, qualified within big four audit firm (preferable)
Mining experience desirable
Working knowledge of IFRS
Experience of auditing of large publicly traded companies under IFRS
Experience with consolidation reporting
Travel to mine sites and regional office (4 – 8 times per year) for periods of 7 – 14 days in general
