Group Accountant | London | £55,000 FTC | Technology / IT

Partner Financial are working with a fast-growing, PE backed, technology organisation. As one of the key performers within their field, the organisation is going through rapid growth through significant global acquisitions.

The business is now looking to appoint a Group Accountant, reporting into the Group Controller who will play an essential role in developing all consolidations and reporting, supporting the design and implementation of systems and controls, and delivering information and packs to PE board and external advisors.

The company have a variety of upcoming projects on the agenda and would like this person to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Act as the main contact and owner of the consolidation and reporting, ensure successful monthly delivery (P&L, Cash Flow, BS) and be the Group’s main representatives for the satellite finance teams in the countries;
  • Support the transition of any remaining outsourced workstreams/process;
  • Review and analyse particular entities to understand performance and build more granular ad-hoc reporting and insight;
  • Help assess, acquire and integrate target organisations;
  • Work with the Group Controller to implement controls, policies, and processes, including new accounting standards adoption;
  • Ensure delivery of the statutory submissions, accounts, audit and all associated compliance alongside the Group Controller;
  • Manage various treasury matters, including forex and support CFO and Group Controller on Tax matters.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • A Qualified Accountant with experience of group consolidations (multi-currency) and strong technical accounting skills (IFRS);
  • Ability to build strong process and controls, having done so before or having been exposed to a high-quality control environment, supported by relevant systems and technology;
  • Ambition to work for and progress within a fast-paced, high growth, PE backed Tech business;
  • Excellent systems and technology capabilities, including strong Excel skills;
  • Strong communication skills with confidence, maturity and credibility.
