We are looking for someone who has a successful track record in leading and owning the digital presence of a well known interiors company based in Manchester. As the Head of Digital you will be responsible for leading our marketing, digital and IT teams. You will have a significant opportunity to build capacity within your team as one of our key aims is to broaden our impact through digital delivery.

You'll be someone who is used to providing strategic advice to leadership teams and senior management on digital outputs and you will be expected to contribute to company–wide initiatives and development activities at a senior level.

You will help shape the ecommerce strategy for the business moving forward defining the vision and supporting the sales and marketing teams, with a focus on driving E–commerce for property professionals.

You will be a visible leader and an excellent communicator and people manager, who can support and develop your team.

As the Head of Digital your main responsibilities will be:

* Lead LOFT's digital transformation – "digitalising" property management furnishing solutions; continuously improving the effectiveness and impact of the company

* Create, own and manage the digital marketing strategy for LOFT across all digital channels – both internally and externally.

* Drive an "E–tail for property professionals" revenue channel through Shopify Plus.

* Supports Commercial, Marketing, IT and senior management team as well as other functions in their customer engagement projects with a focus on digital activities

* Leading the vision and implementation of a new platform that demonstrates innovation, whilst maximising conversion & ROI

* Lead the development of roadmaps to build market leading customer experiences.

* Maximise the potential of social media to "educate and entertain" our target audience(s).

* Lead the "humanisation" of the LOFT brand, bringing to life the personalities that make LOFT a special company.

* Identify customer pain points and work with the Design & Marketing teams to develop concepts to solve this.

* Create a culture of innovation through experimentation, striving for LOFT to become a leader in the digital world.

* Lead resource planning, management, reporting and coordination of projects / initiatives to deliver change in line with availability and business requirements.

* Lead end–to–end digital projects, including technology delivery, and change management required to improve, implement, and embed digital systems, IT infrastructures and processes.

* Ensure best practices and processes across the digital team for the consistent delivery of projects.

* Lead GDPR and data protection compliance, alongside external IT support.

* Develop on–going plans for delivery activities and manage any allocated resources to ensure that the team delivers to committed tasks.

* Oversee the financial aspects of the team including purchasing, budgeting & budget review.

* Research solutions and make recommendations for the improvement of systems and infrastructure. Ensure teams are delivering to a common plan and purpose, and that risks and issues are well–managed.

* Extensive expertise in key digital principles, including person centered design, prototyping and agile delivery in a sensitive and complex environment .

* Experience of managing existing teams and creating team identity and culture and setting standards and procedures.

* Significant experience working with 3rd party suppliers, including digital agencies and software vendors.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience in launching a new ecommerce platform

Experience in channel management

Proven track record in increasing web traffic, conversion and growing online sales

A broad knowledge of digital marketing ranging from SEO/SEM, PPC, email and databases and organic and paid social media

Extensive experience in creating and delivering content strategy, across multiple platforms

Strong experience of understanding and breaking down the online customer journey

Highly analytical and commercial with demonstrable experience of making data driven decisions – Strong skills in data analysis

An expert in eCommerce through technical improvements and functional enhancement

A strong communicator who can deliver results at pace, leading through a team
