Grafton Recruitment are looking for a Director for Clinical Quality, which will serve as a key post in the Chief Nurse's senior management team. This position is imperative in the realisation of the hospital's quality strategy and overseeing/coordinating all aspects of quality, from the ward to board governance. The successful candidate will form crucial working relationships with the executive and divisional leadership teams.

The key duties are
* Responsible for overseeing and ensuring the delivery of the Trust's Clinical Quality Strategy;

* Assist with the leading of integrated governance and risk arrangements, enabling quality to be delivered in the operational divisions but that is monitored and assured corporately;

* Lead on the quality interface with external agencies;

* Operate as a source of independent advice and arbitration in matters of quality.

The successful candidate will possess
* Masters/Higher degree, or equivalent;

* Post–grad management qualification, supplemented with professional managerial experience;

* Extensive experience within the NHS and quality functions;

* Demonstrable track record in successfully implementing change within organisations;

* Experience in building teams, applying strategic plans and improving team performance;

* Up to date working knowledge of NHS functions – able to provide professional advice.
