Our client manufactures 'chemically intelligent' corrosion inhibitors for smart coatings, which are safer and up to ten times more effective than market leading alternatives, according to industry partners. The corrosion inhibiting technology protects in a unique way by using intelligent micro reservoirs that make the coatings responsive to the environment, triggering the release of the inhibitor 'on demand.'

Job Description

The primary responsibility will be to manage, develop and leverage existing relationships whilst identifying new opportunities with new clients, across new regions globally.

Further responsibilities include:

* Manage the end to end commercial process: from opportunity engagement and assessment to internal/external technical stakeholder management, value proposition and close.

* Collaborate with the technical team on new sales proposals.

* Assess, prioritise and provide strategies for new business opportunities.

* Extensive travelling to customer sites globally.

* Attend conferences, trade shows and professional workshops that can have a direct impact on the company's revenue and brand growth in relevant markets.

* Working alongside the management team on sales and marketing strategies that maximises sales opportunities within the Coatings industry.

The Successful Candidate will:

* Must have demonstrable experience of selling into the Coatings industry.

* Have exceptional interpersonal skills with the confidence in working with multiple stakeholders at various levels.

* Be a self–starter, motivated, driven and an ambitious individual.

* Have a proven track record of selling a technical product in a consultative manner.

* Have demonstrable commercial acumen and strong analytical skills.
