PAYE ONLY Max GBP475 p/d
Remote work option available, travel to London will be required when necessary

WRS are in search of an experienced project manager with previous windfarm experience. The position identified is for the technical and project management of Free–Issue Equipment (FIE) scope within the Foundations Package o the St Brieuc Offshore Windfarm project, with the primary focus will be on the supply of Pile Grippers. This position will be overseeing the detail design of gripper solutions and will act as the link between the supplier and the foundations designer.

The Foundations Package is responsible for delivery of the design and supply of the wind turbine foundations for 62 locations and associated free–issue equipment. These foundations shall be 3–leg pre–piled jackets, where piles are grouted into rock sockets, and a grouted connection transfers loads between the jacket and piles. It is envisaged that this position will be delivered as part of an ongoing service for FIE Project and Technical Management services.

The awarded Consultant / Contractor shall be sufficiently skilled and competent to deliver the services defined below. The FIE project manager will be responsible for the project management and technical oversight of free issue equipment supply scopes procured by the project and free–issued to the Foundations Supply Contractor (FSC). Management responsibility shall specifically relate to pile gripper systems, but support may be required on other scopes as necessary.

This is an initial 12 month contract with a potential to extend further based in Central London, working on the development of new Windfarm projects.

–Project management of pile gripper primary supply and contingency supply contracts
–Oversee the detailed design development and certification of the gripper solutions
–Technical interface between gripper supplier and Foundations Designer (via Foundations Design sub–package)
–Technical interface between gripper supplier and Foundation Supply Contractor (via Foundations Supply sub–package)
–Management interface between gripper supplier and Foundations Transportation and Installation Contractor (via the Transportation and Installation Package)
–Support management of interface between gripper supplier and Marine Warranty Surveyor

Condition Monitoring Systems POTENTIAL SUPPORT REQUIRED

–Project management of CMS contract
–Oversee the detailed design development of the CMS and integration into the low voltage (LV) systems
–Technical interface between CMS supplier and Foundations Designer (via Foundations Design sub–package)for low voltage design and structural engineering input
–Technical and site logistics interface between gripper supplier and Foundation Supply Contractor (via Foundations Supply sub–package)
–Management interface between CMS supplier and Wind Turbine Supply Contractor(via the project Wind Turbine Package)

Navigational and Bird Radars POTENTIAL SUPPORT REQUIRED
Scope Specific Responsibilities
–Procurement of radar systems supplier design and full supply contract
–Project management of radar systems supply contract
–Facilitate the detailed design development of the support structure and LV systems
–Technical interface between radar supplier and Foundations Designer (via Foundations Design sub–package)for low voltage design and structural engineering
–Technical and site logistics interface between radar supplier and Wind Turbine Supply Contractor(via project Wind Turbines Package)
