A market leading manufacturing client within the South Yorkshire area is looking for an Interim Group Accountant to join its team for a full-time contract role. You will report directly into the Divisional FD and be responsible for the financial accounting processes and key decision making within the group related to the technical reports and audit assistance you provide.

Your New Role
As the newly appointed Group Accountant your responsibilities will include:
- Management of the statutory accounts process
- Key project leadership between finance and non-finance
- Ensuring the financial accounting records are maintained accurately and correctly
- Supporting the audit process and offering guidance to the internal auditors to ensure that financial best practice is adopted across the group
Applications are invited from Chartered Accountants who demonstrate:
- Training and qualification from a top 20 firm is ideal, though any previous statutory accounting experience will be considered, especially if you are able to demonstrate significant IFRS and Financial Accounting experience.
- Experience of a large ERP system.
- Advanced Excel skills are highly advantageous.
