Finance Director

Our client is an exciting international FMCG company who are looking to hire a Finance Director reporting to the CEO. My client is very successful and have a highly impressive brand in the sector.

You will be a key member of the Board as they move forward to their next phase of growth. You will be responsible for all financial aspects of the business, managing and developing the finance team. You will drive company strategy, commercial decision making and ultimately be responsible for the financial development of the company. This role will also crucially be involved in significant business projects as the company seeks to grow, including M&A. You will be interacting directly in this role with the CEO, Commercial team and the board and where necessary, external parties such as auditors, banks, and advisers. As the Finance Director, you will also oversee the finance department to drive quality and development. The role will be leading a team so previous management experience will be important.

Our client is seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) for the Finance Director position. Our client would happily see a dynamic no.2 looking to make their first step up or an SME Finance Director seeking an exciting new challenge in a growing company. FMCG or Manufacturing experience is essential. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and commercial environment, as well as having the credibility to interact with Directors.
