The role:
Our client are looking for an experienced Director of Development (Interim) to join them to help to guide their exciting development programme over the next initial 6 month period
The role will involve overseeing teams and projects from inception stage through to passing these projects over to the delivery team; therefore a strong focus on the leadership of a high performing acquisitions team is essential
This will require a director who is solution driven, proactive with a commercial approach to development. Leading a large team, working at a senior level with a range of stakeholders.
The applicant:
Experience of successfully managing a large development team, with a focus on new business and land
Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to write clear and concise board papers.
Understanding and experience of complex budget setting, management and control.
Housing association experience is preferable, however private sector and local authority experience will be considered
