Full time Interim Finance Director / Chief Financial Officer required for SME Engineering/Manufacturing business going through dynamic change and growth journey. Reporting to the Chairman of the Board, This is a very hands-on role in a turnaround and equity raise environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Experience includes:
The successful candidate will be an energetic and hands-on self-starter, ideally with a strong background in the waste to energy/waste to fuel sectors working in businesses delivering large scale projects or industrial equipment manufacturing. They will also be experienced in a Private Equity environment, and be immediately available.
Responsibilities Include:
- Take control of the finance function
- Take control of payables and invoicing
- Take control of bank accounts
- Prioritise and manage Creditor days past due
- Create a forward looking (6 months) cashflow model updated every week
- Create management accounts and forecasts
Experience includes:
- Qualified Accountant with a proven track record as an FD / CFO in a turnaround environment
- Previous experience in design and engineering companies in the manufacture of industrial equipment
- Previous experience in controlling project expenditure and milestone payments
- experience in the process of raising capital or PE equity
