Investigo are partnering with a high growth technology company, to recruit a Qualified Finance Manager due to recent acquisition.
Our client is looking for an ambitious Finance Manager to be responsible for the financial integration of the new business into the group and then become their Finance Business Partner moving forward.

Month End reporting

We are looking for the following:
Our client is looking for an ambitious Finance Manager to be responsible for the financial integration of the new business into the group and then become their Finance Business Partner moving forward.
Duties will include:
- Be main point of contact working closely with the business Senior Leadership team to understand results, produce monthly forecasts and annual budgets
- Understanding of key product streams and growth areas and associated impact on the financial results
- Use of financial reports to produce key Management Information to facilitate Senior Management decision making.
Month End reporting
- Taking ownership of the month end close process, production of consolidated P&L and balance sheet with the assistant Management Accountant
- Leading the monthly review with the leadership team to explain the results
- Analysis of revenue, margin and OPEX to facilitate monthly reviews
- Month end reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts
- Preparation of monthly payroll costs until integration and review of costs
- Payment run review and approvals
- Review Monthly Commission calculations
- Processing monthly journals
Company Integration
- Migration of the finance system, payroll, and expenses
- Review of existing processes to ensure transferred to the right function in Group
- Identification of process improvements and further integration to realise synergies in working practices.
Team management
- Responsible for developing and managing a small team including an Assistant Management Accountant
We are looking for the following:
- Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Previous experience of working in industry
- Prior experience of company integration and process improvement/development
- Experience of UKGAAP and IFRS
- Advanced user of Excel, experience of using accounting systems, data analytic tools and SQL
- Experience of the Telecoms/IT sector would be useful but not essential
