Head of Product – Consumer Finance Portfolio

Our client, a household name, with a reputation as one of the largest financial services providers is currently seeking a Head of Product to build and own the Consumer Finance portfolio. This role will identify, plan and then build a range of lending products, across industry verticals, that meet the broad needs of a diverse customer base and that will ultimately drive profitability and future growth. Flexible work patterns/locations considered.

Remit:

Report to Group COO and Board
Chair divisional steering committee
Manage a team of and hold the ability to pull on cross–functional resource
Communicate vision, innovations and business cases to all levels within the business, demonstrating clear leadership in delivering initiatives
Build and deliver new product lines
Own divisional budget

Responsibilities:

Deliver Consumer Finance initiatives
Identify complementary product lines and build into product/business road maps
Build cross–functional relationships
Take ownership of third–party relationships to aid product and divisional build

Requirements:

Experience within a regulated consumer finance orientated business
Experienced leading all aspects of product development and commercial management
An ability to evidence the delivery of great customer outcomes alongside commercial success
'Hands–on' leadership style
Comfortable in setting up a growing function, whilst managing existing revenue lines
The potential to grow and move into other roles within the Group over time
