Interim Regeneration Assignment:
Strategic Transport Project Manager
3 months, Inside IR35, home working, GBP400pd
A Local Authority are looking for experienced transport and infrastructure project manager who can contribute to masterplanning, town centre regeneration, bid writing, project planning and delivery.
This interim assignment will be working as part of the Strategic Transport Team to support the development and delivery of the transport pipeline. You will be working on unique projects in the Strategic Transport portfolio including re–use of a large, redundant railway line to create a linear park and active travel corridor, and creation of new mass transit solutions to enable regeneration to take place.
You need to have a background of supporting teams on delivering large–scale regeneration programmes within major transport and infrastructure projects. Experience working with major developers and funders is a must.
Requirements:
Experience in managing significant transport projects from design through to delivery
Experience working as part of a team delivering large–scale regeneration programmes with major transport and infrastructure programmes
Experience of preparing business cases and external funding bids for transport projects
Ability to work in a fast–paced environment and be self–sufficient in work planning and management
