Sales Manager – Crane Hire

Experience selling or hiring out Cranes is a MUST for this role

GBP35,000 – GBP45,000 Basic Salary

OTE GBP50,000 – GBP60,000 depending on sales made

Car, Phone, Laptop, Pension, Commission, Bonus based on Branch Performance

You can be based anywhere in the UK for this role as we have national coverage.

The area covered is negotiable depending on your experience.

A renowned Crane Hire firm are now looking for an individual who has experience within the industry to help them bring in some more new business as well as develop an existing pipeline of customers. We are continuously expanding our knowledge and product range within the industry so we would like a dynamic, entrepreneurial individual to join who can present new ideas and help us grow!

Key Responsibilities

Looking at the existing pipeline of customers and developing new ways on how to increase revenue such as new product introductions

Booking and attending customer meetings from your own accord as well as inbound enquiries

Working with internal teams daily to work on quotations, product enquiries, stock levels and all in all, working as a team to ensure the requirements of the customers are met

Management of your personal business database consisting of a range of SME & blue–chip customers

Preparing and delivering on sales targets on a quarterly and monthly basis

Ensure customers are kept in the loop throughout the entire project including delivery times, any product issues, new product introductions and so on.

Handling complaints from customers in an appropriate manner

Working with suppliers and keeping in touch with them regularly to ensure needs are met

Regularly monitor customer spends and analyse who is spending what, where and when in order to generate a solid plan of action for the remainder of your working career with the business

Full account management working as a 360 salesman

Keeping an eye on competition and upcoming market trends then putting a plan in place on how to introduce new products and who will be your target audience for this
