We are currently looking to recruit a Marketing Project Manager – Specialist Markets to project manage marketing and communications to highlight the full product range to our different customer markets, whilst managing a small team of Marketing Executives.

What does the role involve?
As Marketing Project Manager, you'll have input into and implement the marketing strategy for the Specialist Markets business, whilst managing all product marketing activities and helping to grow profitable sales within the different product categories. You'll liaise closely with the wider Specialist Markets business on specific promotions and new product introductions, creating and publishing product marketing material targeted to our customers. You will manage, lead, coach, support and develop the Marketing Executives, ensuring the team focuses on delivering exceptional customer services whilst meeting customer expectations through effective business processes that are reviewed and monitored against targets. As the Marketing PM, the role holder will analyse and identify opportunities for change and continuous improvement within the team, challenging existing practices and making full use of Central functions which will enable Branch Directors/Managers to proactively concentrate on developing the business.
The successful candidate will require:
Product Marketing experience, ideally within a construction materials industry
Strong People Management skills, with the ability to lead, manage and coach a team
An understanding of Pricing Policies, Sales Planning and Financial Planning and Strategy
The ability to solve problems pragmatically and overcome constraints in a fast–paced, dynamic and complex environment and deliver outstanding results
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with sufficient credibility enabling you to influence stakeholders at all levels internally and externally
The drive to navigate a complex business, working strategically to realise the organisation's goals
