Broad in house Junior Legal Counsel role focused on Construction or Procurement matters relating to infrastructure development. Based in London.
Client Details
Our client is a high profile national infrastructure development project with London offices.
Description
Assisting with the provision of high quality legal support including drafting documents and providing advice to staff at all levels on all aspects of commercial/contracts law in connection with the organisation.
Areas of law can include commercial contracts, corporate law, intellectual property, and finance and technology issues but the focus will be procurement, construction, funding.
There will be limited contentious work also, assisting with advice on resolution of contractual claims and disputes (including supporting, but not directly conducting, litigation or arbitration using external lawyers where appropriate).
Profile
The successful candidate for this role is likely to be a UK or Common Law qualified solicitor with between 1 and 3 years of Post Qualification Experience.
They will have experience in construction law or public procurement (or both).
In house experience is not a prerequisite but will be looked upon favourably.
