A superb opportunity has arisen for a Legal Project Manager (LPM) to join a world leading law firm and assist in building out the LPM function. The role is to provide first class client service across a wide variety of projects, encompassing different practice areas. You will be working very closely with the Senior Legal Project Manager, supporting the fee earners from inception through to completion or matters. Influencing and advising will be a key attribute of this role and requires the successful individual to be skilled in LPM, to have considerable project management experience and the confidence to engage intelligently with fee earners and Partners. Strong communication skills are essential as well as a very hands on approach to work.
Key skills required include:
Experience of working in a law firm with senior stakeholders and running matters preferably embedded on the matter as a Legal Project Manager and be client facing in this role.
A focused, organised and motivated individual who pays attention to detail, can work well under pressure with the ability to multi-task and who takes responsibility for their performance.
A confident and professional style with strong communication skills (both written and oral), the ability to listen, adapt their communication style as required, demonstrating diplomacy and tact.
