This Schools Trust wishes to appoint a second Assistant Director of Education to this interesting and challenging new post.
The Trust has over 20 Schools across the primary secondary and special phases.
Provision is spread across three hub areas in Cambridgeshire, and areas of the East of England. Becoming part of the core central team of educational professionals and senior managers you will work Trust–wide as the key professional adviser on standards curriculum and improvement with their family of Headteachers.
They will look to you, and rely on you to mentor their activities and approaches, as well as to encourage, challenge and support & guide them in delivering constant and evidence– based improvement.
You will– Work alongside the Director for Education and other members of the school improvement service to deliver together the best outcomes for all our schools.
You are– A Graduate and qualified teacher with successful and recent experience of headship and/or in inspection regimes or Local Authority/Multi Academy Trust inspection or advisory services and who wants to take their influence to the next level across a sizeable multi–academy trust.
You have– A reputation as a well– regarded leader and manager within one or more of the education sector areas who can gain the Trust and respect of Headteachers and education executive or Boards, and a current up to date and in–depth knowledge and understanding of the key agendas across the education sector.
You want– To show your skills as a strategic thinker, planner and evaluator who is thrilled at the prospect of extending your impact and seeing new schools opening with your quality work having a chance to shine.
You want Headteachers, schools and pupils to give of their very best and can show them how.
You know– You know your stuff when it comes to pupil data and analysis of achievement, the development and action planning for school improvement and inspection and the requirements for the inspection regime.

Salary package, including generous car allowance is expected to be up to GBP80kpa for a strong and well– experienced candidate. In addition the Trust offers a generous package of benefits for travel, healthcare, pensions and annual leave.
You will need an enhanced DBS for this position.
