Business Development Manager

We now have an additional key role for a Clinical Network Business Development Manager, who will support the growth, development and running of our Group wide Therapist Network. As part of the Network Team you will undertake network recruitment activities with colleagues in our operations and clinical teams, to ensure our Therapist capacity is sufficient to meet our client demands across geography/price/availability/quality/modalities.

You will identify potential new therapists and working with the Commercial Network Manager you will recruit therapists and clinicians to join our Group wide therapist network, in line with our recruitment/onboarding and communications strategy.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

• Scope and understand the UK wide clinician and therapist landscape, to engage in forums and conversations with professional therapist organisations,
• Identify & recruit therapists to meet the clinical capacity requirements of the Group,
• Research and identify new areas – including new markets, growth areas, trends, partnerships, or new ways of reaching existing markets to pro–actively recruit new therapists to the group network,
• Negotiate therapist contract T's & C's, session fees and onboarding process information,
• Support the development of mixed marketing and communication activities in line with the Network Communication Strategy and the global business strategy
• Organise and participate in events, attend industry opportunity events to network and promote the business. Support therapist forum events and provide relevant marketing materials.
• Support the design of new processes for business improvement,
• Support therapist network training & learning and CPD events and sessions with network colleagues,
• Generate marketing data for use in developing the Group therapist network including communication through forecasting and analysis
• Day to day business support activities in dealing with enquiries from existing and potential clinicians, escalating cases seeking resolution, problem solving and pro–actively resolving issues,
• Support the Network Business Support function with queries, onboarding, negotiating, and providing training opportunities for colleagues,
• Project support, support ad–hoc and time critical projects

Business Development Manager Requirements:

This role will suit a confident, skilled communicator who has a minimum of 3 years good sales / marketing experience, in a commercial environment. You should have knowledge and experience of healthcare related organisations. You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the sensitive nature of clinical work and be able to adapt your negotiating style accordingly.

Location: York Office and home location

Job type: Full Time, Permanent – The role requires from time to time to work as part of a flexible rota to provide extended hours and weekend cover.

Salary: up to GBP25,000 dependent on experience
