Job Title: Global IS Project Manager
Business Area: Lucy Group Information Services (IS)
Location: Oxford (with travel)
Job Purpose
The Global IS Project Manager is an integral part of the management team, and fundamental to the long–term creation of business value through use of Technology and Information Services across the four Lucy business units. They are responsible for the delivery of innovative IT solutions to improve quality and reduce costs. Working alongside both internal and external resources, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of multiple IT projects and programs.
Job Dimensions
* Reporting directly to the IS Development & Transformation Lead
* Manage multiple in–direct business stakeholders and sponsors
* Collaborate with several technical and non–technical teams geographically dispersed throughout the UK, India, Dubai, Thailand and other international locations
* Collaborating with various resources to deliver multiple IT projects concurrently.
* To ensure that business objectives are met, and risks are mitigated.
* Managing Quality Assurance and ensuring defects are resolved.
* Manage project resources to guarantee deadlines are met within budget.
Key Accountabilities
The Global IS Project Manager will be accountable for:
* IT Project Management (Performance & Value) – [Measurement: Formal Project Plans; Risk Register; Stakeholder Management Plan; Communications Plan; Project Reporting].
Job Context
The position is responsible for:
* Leading the delivery of multiple IT Projects
* Engaging with key stakeholders and the Global IS Transformation & Development Lead to identify and agree the key project objectives and benefits for the work programme.
* Responsible for the major project deliverables, maintaining the overall project plans across multiple areas to ensure effective delivery within budget and to the agreed timescales, quality and benefits realisation requirements.
* Lead and Matrix manage assigned technical and 3rd party resources (where applicable).
* Promote and embed project management methodologies and governance frameworks in line with ITIL4 practices.
* Monitor and control assigned resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and manages expectations of all project stakeholders.
* Converting customer requirements, managing these throughout the development and delivery life cycle into delivered services
* Providing project management of technical and non–technical aspects of service delivery including the coordination and organisational, customer and other 3rd party of supplier deliverables
Qualification and Experience
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
– Extensive experience in managing IT projects and programmes.
– Previous exposure to financial control, reporting and monitoring.
– A strong technical background with experience delivering complex IT solutions.
– Managed suppliers and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
– Knowledge of Microsoft Project Software.
– Demonstrable experience in delivering quality IT Services.
– Formal Project Management certification (e.g. PRINCE2; APM; PMI).
– ITIL4 Foundation Certification
– Proven change management skills in a complex stakeholder environment
– Experience in overseeing the planning and delivery of IT Infrastructure projects
– A broad understanding of Cloud based Infrastructure technologies and services (e.g. AWS, Azure, D365, O365).
Desirable Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
– Change Management certification
– A working knowledge of DevOps and other software development approaches
– Program Management certification or equivalent experience.
Job Specific Skills:
– A passion for technology and innovative ways of working

– Strong listening, presentation, and writing skills
– Ability to communicate with people at all levels
