THE ROLE: Our client is looking to expand the offerings of their professional discipline team with the appointed of an additional Regulatory Solicitor. The team act for a full range of regulators, with a particular specialism in healthcare. The appointed Regulatory Solicitor will mange their own caseload of fitness to practice cases, which will be both challenging yet rewarding and will cover everything from large scale fraud through to inappropriate sexualised behaviour. The successful Regulatory Solicitor will carry out the day to day conduct of the regulator's case under the supervision of a partner and carry out all steps including, but not limited to, preparing advice on evidential issues, communicating with witnesses, instructing experts and attending conferences with Counsel. The appointed Regulatory Solicitor will be the main point of contact from the outset of the case through to conclusion.
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal Regulatory Solicitor will have at least two years of experience gained working within regulatory law and fitness to practise experience would be highly desirable. Healthcare regulatory experience of some kind would also be highly advantageous.
