My client is currently looking for a Head of Digital Marketing to join their growing team based remotely 4 days a week and one day in the office based near Gloucestershire. I am ideally looking for a marketing expert who has had experience across B2C and B2B marketing strategies. The role will be focused more on B2C but having B2B experience would be very beneficial. This role is to help drive and lead the inbound marketing initiatives for the business in a brand new position!

The purpose of the role is to create an international marketing team, to increase an international audience that delivers 120,000 applications annually in key markets such as India, China, Latin America, Africa, Europe and North America.

Principle responsibilities:

Devise and deliver multi–channel marketing campaigns, leveraging SEO, paid, social, email, mail/print campaigns and events to drive student acquisition.

??? Define the type of content to be used in order to deliver our messages, such as guides, webinars, email workflows, online tools etc.

??? Define and deliver an international inbound marketing strategy to drive acquisition from the acquired audience from all continents

??? Incorporate a content strategy to support the overall international inbound marketing strategy.

??? Work with the Head of Product to ensure our infrastructure supports the marketing strategy.

??? Ability and willingness to be "hands–on" in order to bring the marketing strategy to life.

??? Create and manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including paid, social and email, in order to deliver our content and message.

??? Over time, build a marketing team to help deliver.

??? Optimise marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels. Create and optimise the email communications through workflows and sequences.

??? Work with the Head of PR & Communications and UI/UX Designer to ensure that all marketing content is "on brand", in terms of messaging, tone of voice and visually.

??? Liaise with the Head of SEO and content writers to ensure all website content is optimised for SEO.

??? Understand the commercials behind all marketing activity.

??? Work with the Data Lead to ensure that all marketing dashboards and reports are defined and created.

??? Split testing marketing activity to ensure ongoing campaign improvements are driven by data insights.

??? Work with the Data Lead to set up analytics with appropriate funnels, goals and commercial feedback, to understand how to turn "inquisitive" into "applications".

The successful candidate:

??? Understand the most appropriate type of "inbound marketing" messages to deliver different stages of the customer journey

??? Understand which channels and formats are most appropriate for testing.

??? Understand what content and assets are most appropriate for where the customer is at in their customer journey.???(e.g. The 5 levels of customer awareness)

??? Be able to clearly demonstrate how to grow the visitors to a website to 100,000's visitors (ideally from an early stage), through – ??? Paid ??? Social ??? Email ??? Referral strategy

??? Be able to clearly demonstrate examples of where they have used marketing automation to manage high volumes of customers.

??? Be able to demonstrate creative thinking, when approaching advertising, content and messaging

??? Have previous experience in inbound marketing management, with a minimum of 3 years.

??? Have previous experience in content strategies in attracting audiences from different regions of the world such as India, China, Latin America, North America and Europe using social and paid marketing.

??? Be proficient in marketing automation, with experience in leveraging marketing automation software.

??? Have broad content experience – all candidates must be able to demonstrate where they have delivered a multiplatform content strategy across different mediums.

Part of this exciting opportunity is as the Head of Digital Marketing you will also help to structure the marketing team around yourself. You will help to recruit and build a team where you will have direct reports over time.

Salary : GBP60,000 – GBP75,000k
