Telecoms Senior Project Manager, Chorley – Permanent

We are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to support the deployment of full fibre networks across the North West.

Role Profile:
Reporting to the Operations Director and supported by a team City Leads you will be responsible for a multi–site based field operation team that delivers high quality positive outcomes to the customer.
You will establish and maintain a stable and professional supply chain in your area. You will develop and manage high performing teams with accountability for Health and Safety, Quality, financial performance (P&L) and operational delivery.
Responsibilities:
Safety – ensure that safe working practices are adopted as the top priority for all activities undertaken and that they are supported by all relevant documentation correctly completed.
Ensure that all accidents, incidents, near misses, quality failures and service deterioration trends are thoroughly investigated and recorded resulting in effective root cause analysis, action planning, implementation and subsequent monitoring to prevent future repetition.
Ensure that the areas of Safety, Quality Improvement and Streetworks compliance are maintained in all engagements with delivery depots.
Customer Relationships – through regular communication and positive delivery outcomes establish an effective working relationship with the customer such that Telent is seen as the preferred supplier in your area.
HA Relationships – drive your management team and Delivery Depots to deliver consistently high levels of streetworks compliance and reinstatement quality.
Inspection Regime – manage a programme of inspections carried out by your team and in line with business requirements that demonstrates Telent's commitment to providing a safe, standards compliant and high quality service.
Skills:
Knowledge of NEC 3 framework contract an advantage.
Project Management – Experience of managing large complex delivery program's through partners and Delivery Depots.
Relationship Management – Experience of building and managing strong senior level relationships internally and externally (eg. Councils) to influence and drive the right outputs to meet the business plan.
