This is an urgent requirement for a Senior Business Analyst with experience working within an application delivery environment on data–centric and regulatory reporting solutions. My client is well–established organisation leading the market in its field and is currently embarking on an exciting Transformation programme. The Business Analysis team is being expanded with the analysis framework and standards being defined and shaped.
Senior Business Analyst – Data Reporting Role and Duties:
– Occupy a senior role in a new Business Analysis team focussed on solution delivery
– Elicit, gather, analyse, interpret and document business requirements using both Waterfall and Agile methods
– Maintain and develop best practice related to processes, tools and ways of working to improve efficiencies
– Work closely with other BA's and to provide a technical solution to a variety of data–centric and Reporting business issues
– Take the lead on assigning tasks in an effort to meet business demands effectively
Senior Business Analyst – Data, Reporting Skills and Experience:
– Substantial experience in a Business Analyst role using both Waterfall and Agile tools and techniques
– Specific expertise in capturing requirements for a range of data cleansing, data migration and data analysis solutions
– In–depth experience of providing a technical solution to business problems, with specific emphasis on solution analysis and option definition
– Knowledge of any Regulatory environment from a Reporting perspective would be ideal
– Excellent communication skills and experience of stakeholder management and conflict resolution
Experience of using modern software delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello etc would be ideal but is not essential. This is a role wherein you will work across Project, Product and Delivery teams so the ability to embrace transformational challenge would be ideal. This role is a fixed–term contract opportunity for a 12–month period initially, though it may well extend beyond that.
