Head Of Sales and Commercial
A globally operational Logistics business is looking to recruit an experienced and entrepreneurial Head of Sales/ Head of Commercial to focus on their North West England operation.
This role is a widely autonomous and creative opportunity. Ideal candidates will be those who have a demonstrable track record of success in securing and growing and delivering multi million pound deals annually for a diverse logistics service provider.
This organisation have experienced YOY growth over the last decade, and have further plans to grow even more across the next 2–5 years. That growth will be achieved by strategic thinking in developing new markets to sell into.
The right fit for this role is therefore someone who has a proven track record in leading Sales teams, but equally you will be an individual who can demonstrate genuine entrepreneurial thinking and flair when it comes to diversifying the business and spreading risk. This role sits on their senior leadership team and will drive new business growth and existing client retention and growth at all times.
You will come from any of the following backgrounds: Logistics, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Commodities, Stock Holding Services.
You will oversee a small sales team in the North West, and a small Sales support team, but will be expected to grow your headcount across the next 2 years.
This business unit is part of a larger operational group, that has a strong footprint of bases across the UK in strategically located hot spots but ones that service international markets. This business are a known strong and credible brand within Logistics.
