The Role
The firm is seeking to recruit an experienced Development and House Building solicitor to join their growing offering based in Reading.
The Development and housing department is highly regarded nationally, and there is a significant commitment from the business to develop this offering further.
The Group advises on a wide range of commercial and residential matters. The Development and House Building Team focuses on the acquisition and disposals of development land, planning and construction matters and secured acquisition and development finance.
The Development and House Building team are friendly, professional and dynamic. You will deal with a broad caseload of matters, which will aid your development.
Requirements

• The candidate should have a track record of working largely autonomously advising clients on acquisitions and disposals or development land.
• Have a good understanding of related SDLT and planning processes and legislation and an ability to advise on planning and infrastructure agreements.
• Experience of advising house builders is preferred.
