An award winning technology business is looking for a Head of Compliance to join them for 9-12 months on a maternity cover contract.

Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will have sole responsibility for all compliance matters. Whilst the core focus of the work will be on Data Privacy, it's hoped that you'll be nimble enough to turn your hand to a variety of different compliance matters - as and when.

You will have a broad compliance background including experience with Data Protection and Regulated Products and importantly will have worked for a global company with exposure to regulation in multiple jurisdictions. You will bring experience of best practice technology and processes, and experience in driving major change; and given the company's extremely ambitious growth plans, it's essential for the Head of Compliance to be highly commercial - able to ensure flexible and positive support for commercial growth plans whilst balancing the need to maintain strong compliance controls.

It is essential that you have at least 5yrs* compliance experience with a focus on data privacy, preferably in a tech environment and in an international role. Some understanding of UK FCA rules and regulations would also be welcome. There are also some specific initiatives on the horizon for which project management experience would be extremely useful.

It will suit an exceptional team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a close knit team, someone who's not afraid of rolling up their sleeves in a fast-paced environment where unpredictability is the norm. You should also have demonstrable experience working with multiple stakeholders, including leadership teams.

*NB: experience levels are offered as a guide only. Our clients will accept applications from all candidates who can demonstrate the skills necessary for the role.

Interested candidates should send their CV to Nick Wasserman for consideration. All successful candidates will be contacted within 5 working days of application. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, though, we are not always able to respond directly to everyone, but we will try our very best.
