Our client are a developer with a strong reputation for delivering major new build and refurbishment projects across the UK.

Job Description

As Senior Project Manager you'll be responsible for the following:

Planning – plan the build process, producing a critical path and understanding the timing of each stage. Following each phase of the project is essential to ensuring that the project is completed on time.

Resource Allocation – ensuring materials are ordered correctly and in time for works.

Staff Management – team recruitment and allocating tasks to relevant managers.

Setting Benchmarks to monitor progress, maintaining the programme of works to always ensure the project is on target to finish on time and within budget.

Budget Management –responsible for the financial planning and monitoring of the project. Continually forecasting ongoing project costs, keeping the team informed of forecasts and changes, managing the scope meticulously, so knowing the costs for unplanned construction work or resources and keeping that set–aside.

About You

You'll be a proven Project Manager with experience of projects from start through to handover completion. Able to demonstrate longevity with employers, you'll ideally have experience with cut & carve refubishment. Projects in your portfolio will include residential and hotels. You'll be a strong manager, able to drive a project through challenging times.

Required Skills

Planning and Time Management – able to ensure that projects are completed within set timeframes.

Resource Management – ensuring that equipment is available throughout the building project.

Financial and Budget Management – making sure that the project is completed within a financial budget.

Excellent communication – arranging meetings and ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of the project's progress.

Delegation and Motivation – be responsible for ensuring that tasks are delegated effectively

Advanced Construction knowledge – at times of uncertainty the project manager may be relied upon for his superior knowledge of the industry and specific problems.
