A Legal 500 law firm in Birmingham has an opportunity for a Clinical Negligence Associate to join its growing team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor seeking a varied and challenging role within one of the best teams in Birmingham.
This firm are a top 50 national law firm and has a large Clinical Negligence team which covers all aspects of Healthcare law including clinical negligence, child law, clinical governance, consent to treatment, healthcare advisory and mental health.

About the Role
The Clinical Negligence Associate will be responsible for:
- Managing a caseload of litigated and pre-litigated Clinical Negligence files, both straightforward and complex, efficiently and cost effectively.
- Conducting relevant investigations in order to repudiate and/or conclude the claim.
- Supervising junior team members including Paralegals and Trainees
You will be UK qualified Solicitor who demonstrates:
- 4+ years' PWE in Clinical Negligence (candidates with more or less experience with the relevant skillset will be considered)
- A real passion for Clinical Negligence
- The ability to form quick relationships with both your team and clients
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Effective communication skills
- The ability to integrate well into a close-knit team
