Head of SEO & Technology

Our client, a hugely successful independant agency in London are looking to hire a Head of SEO to work out of their newly formed Leeds office. 5 years old, always evolving and investiing in the best people, they are looking for an SEO guru to be part of their growth.

Project & Service Management

To work closely with analytics & SEO clients to ensure a full understanding of their business, data / technology needs and priorities
To work closely with Client Services to ensure all Analytics projects have a viable commercial model in place
To work closely with suppliers to ensure that the team are constantly at the forefront of industry developments and, when suitable, we are trialing these new tactics or platforms for our clients
Ensure all activity meets or exceeds the client's performance expectations
To lead the Analytics & SEO response in new business process
To oversee all commercial arrangements with suppliers, ensuring they align with client contracts and requirements
Responsibility for supplier relationships and development of commercial and contractual agreements therein
Specific services include
Measurement plans & implementation specs
Cross–channel tracking implementation projects
Data integration & architecture
Data analysis such as attribution & cross channel interactions
Dashboard creation (Datorama, Ad Verity or equivalent)
Research & Development to create new tech in order to support teams and improve our USPs
To deliver technical SEO consultancy across the portfolio of accounts
Support Account Managers / Consultants and Executive(s) in delivering tailored technical recommendations

Delivery & Line Management

Direct line management of members of the analytics & SEO department to ensure that work is delivered to an exceptional standard, on target and on time
Training and development of junior team members to ensure that they are performing at the highest standard
Quality control of work conducted by junior members of the team
Responsibility for recruitment, appraisals and HR within this team

Departmental Development

To work with the Head of Digital across a range of tasks to further the scale, capabilities and quality of the Analytics & SEO offering, including
Best practice documentation and processes
Recruitment of required skillsets
Training plans and delivery of soft skill and technical training
Technology supplier relationships
Technology and automation
Full scope of product development for your services
Market research to ensure your department is developing ahead of our competitors and in line with industry change
Integration of wider approaches and strategy into your services
Identifying and developing new approaches, partner relationships and technology to further develop your services
Work with other departments leads to collaboratively develop the overall proposition
Work with Marketing on case studies, speaking events and press opportunitiesNew Business

Work directly with New Business team to assess commercial validity of inbound leads
Capacity planning for potential new clients to ensure we have the required resource and expertise to fully service per contracts
Work directly with the New Business team to create highest quality responses to RFIs, RFPs and pitch requirements
Delegation and monitoring of relevant tasks to junior team members in preparation for the above
Work with the Head of Digital and other HODs to produce multi–channel strategies and responses to lead requirements
Production of templated assets for all stages of the new business process
Calculation of projections and commercial models to ensure new clients are profitable and targets attainable
