Conrad Consulting is supporting a leading multi–disciplinary engineering business as they look to appoint a Director to lead their Infrastructure Development team.
This role is best suited to a 'time–served' Civil Engineer who is now working as an Associate, Technical Director or similar. Those already operating at Director level and looking for a new challenge are also of interest.
Our client offer Civil, Structural, Geotechnical and Environmental service lines and their portfolio covers most sectors. The Infrastructure team generally deliver work within mainstream building markets including residential, healthcare, education, retail, renewable energy and more.
You will be joining an established team as part of a succession plan. For those already running an infrastructure division this would be a like–for–like replacement but equally, an excellent opportunity for those needing a transitional period, from Associate/TD to Director level.
About you**
Chartered Civil Engineer (MICE)
Significant experience designing, and latterly managing, the delivery of roads and drainage schemes for UK infrastructure projects
Experience managing a team of Civil Engineers & Technicians
Able to demonstrate a track record in training and developing your team
Confidence to liaise directly with existing clients and identify new business opportunities
Exposure to financial management, reporting and forecasting
**Given the seniority of this role the breadth of responsibilities is extensive, and the qualities listed above are merely the foundational skills required. The full remit of this role will be discussed on application**
On offer is an attractive package which will vary depending on your specific experience but as a benchmark you can expect a starting salary of GBP65,000 to GBP80,000 and an extensive range of benefits including company car/car allowance, profit share bonus, healthcare, pension etc.
For further information or if you would prefer to know the identity of our client before sending a CV to us, please contact Nick Grayston in our Edinburgh office.
Please note, we never send your CV to a client without obtaining your permission, so please apply in confidence and we will be in contact with you to discuss this role before onward transmission of your personal details
