CFO/Finance Director

Hays Senior Finance is exclusively assisting a Gloucestershire based company in finding a high calibre Finance Director/CFO to join their growing organisation reporting Directly into the CEO. You would be joining one of the fastest growing players in their market.

This Finance Director role is multi-faceted and is involved primarily with supporting an ambitious hands-on management board focusing on driving continued business growth. Responsible for managing a small yet growing team, supporting them with all aspects of the finance function, including monthly reporting, management accounts, acquisition analysis/due diligence as well as reviewing commercial bids and contract.

If you enjoy getting involved with every aspect of finance and the wider business as a whole on a daily basis then this would be a very exciting opportunity, we are looking for a commercially minded Finance Director whom can take a hands-on approach to the delivery and management of the organisation. Finance Director duties include:

• Managing all financial and accounting activities of the business,
• Cash Flows
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Support month-end procedures.
• Managing a small finance team
• Liaise with external auditors at year-end close process. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Reviewing potential acquisitions and integrating
• Processes review and development of a more streamlined approach
• Business partnering with the wider business

You will be a qualified accountant with a real passion for building and developing internal and external stakeholder relationships. Ideally looking for a candidate who has supported a growing international business through its journey.
