Main Duties
* Work alongside the C&C Board , finance and operations teams to ensure divisional objectives and strategy are being delivered.
* Act as the conduit across the senior finance team and key senior business stakeholders to help ensure the activities and processes within C&C are aligned to the Group's strategic goals and financial requirements.
* Support BSC/Genpact n producing the C&C monthly management accounts (P & L, balance sheet. Cash flow) in line with Group timetables.
* Support and drive the BSC/Genpact/operational teams to continually improve and maximise the working capital position of C&C.
* Provide commercial support to the operation with regard to procurement and cost control, including interaction with internal and external suppliers on behalf of C&C as appropriate.
* Implement and maintain full finance diary and procedures for C&C financial control and reporting processes.
* Line management, mentoring and development of the C&C Junior FBP.
* Schedule and run monthly financial review meetings to ensure that the Finance Business Partners (FBPs) and Operational managers understand the key financial and commercial drivers and optimise performance to meet C&C targets and KPI's.
* Ensure divisional controls are in place and monitored for key finance activities (Balance Sheet reviews, tax submissions, etc) to ensure the businesses assets and liabilities are correctly stated.
* Act as the main interface for C&C in to Group Finance, Group Audit and external audit.
* Co–ordinate Group Finance deliverables for C&C (e.g. Annual Operating Plan, budgeting and forecasting processes,cash forecasting, C&C QBRs).
* Ensure compliance with all Group Accounting Policies.
* Maintain a robust financial control framework across the finance community.
* Ensure C&C Division is compliant with transaction processing procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Audit liaision with external auditors and the preparation of audit files.
* Work closely with other divisional FCs to ensure best practice is applied in C&C.
* Understand changes to accounting standards and reporting requirements to ensure C&C is compliant.
* Review the application of key accounting policies and judgements across the BU to ensure consistency and correct accounting treatement in accordance with group policy
