My client, a leading global organisation who have set up an innovation division within the group are currently in the market for a Director of Software Engineering to come on board and build out a new team on an entirely greenfield project.
This is very much has a start up feel however with the funds of a large global corporation. This is very much a creative role – as you will not be working on one sole product, this is a position where you will be working on proofs of concepts.
You lead the team through an iterative digital prototyping process, building in order to understand what is desirable and feasible. Your methods will inspire teams to be creative with possible digital solutions and enable product and service testing with real users. You will be working with a plethora of technologies however the main areas are mobile application development, as well as backend & front end engineering. (iOS, Android, Microservices, API's, React).
This is a very diverse team, where you will be working with a range of engineers, designers, researchers on creating prototypes that could shape the next generation of customer technology on a global scale.
