Technical Director – Architecture

Technical Director position – Design led Studio – East London – up to GBP70K plus benefits

Blayze Group are currently partnered with a highly regarded design led practice with offices in the UK and Mainland Europe to assist them in the search for a Technical Director.

Based in Central London you will be given the opportunity to lead the delivery of two large scale residential schemes from RIBA stage 4 onwards, which are due to start on site early next year.

Other responsibilities will include:

Form part of the team delivering Stage 4 design drawings and specifications
Responsible for project coordination ensuring client and statutory requirements are met
Pushing best practice in sustainable design
Writing/overseeing the production of specifications
Improve the quality of our deliverables and reduce risk
Improve the efficiency of our document production effort
Enhance design through strong technical support
Establish a leadership position and role model for technically oriented staff
Ensure delivery of design packages through RIBA stages 4 to 6The successful candidate will ideally come from a well known design practice and be able to bring 10 years of proven delivery experience to the role – a significant proportion of this being focused in the housing sector.

In return my client is able to offer a competitive salary of up to GBP70K plus benefits.
