Learning Consultancy Director
GBP80K–GBP90K Basic Salary
If you possess a successful track record in developing and delivering innovative learning consultancy offerings that are profitable and result in customer delight, then this exciting new role could delight you! Leading a team of L&D consultants, you will be responsible for driving market leading learning consultancy solutions, working closely with both clients and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
*Leading and managing a team of learning consultants with a variety of subject matter specialisms.
*The provision of innovative, market leading learning consultancy to both existing and new clients
*Ensuring that best practices are implemented
*Collaborating with internal teams including learning design, delivery and sales
*Achieving agreed KPI's including client satisfaction scores, consultant utilisation, margin and revenue targets
*Ensuring that offerings such as learning needs analysis, return on learning investment benchmarking and other solutions are of the highest quality and achieve the desired results
*Providing essential updates and management reports against agreed KPI's and benchmarks
*Demonstrate an in–depth knowledge of learning design, learning consultancy and methodologies
*Keep abreast of current and expected trends within the L&D arena
*Map learning consultancy offerings to the achievement of improved business outcomes for key clients
Skills
*Proven leadership and management skills
*Adept at consulting with clients regarding the latest developments in L&D and learning technologies
*Commercial acumen, having managed a profitable learning consulting function or business
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes
*Ability to (project) manage multiple learning consulting assignments simultaneously
*In–depth knowledge of talent development, psychometrics and learning technologies
*Adept and confident public speaker
*Able to demonstrate thought leadership in learning and talent development
*Adept at collaborating with senior stakeholders, both internal and external
*Highly personable team player, able to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders
Qualifications
*Degree level qualifications desirable
Experience requirements
*At least 5 years of experience leading a commercially focused learning consultancy team and/or function
*Possessing subject matter expertise and in–depth knowledge of the L&D arena, include the latest thinking and technological developments
*Proven leadership and management credentials
*Experience managing a P&L within an L&D setting
*Proven ability creating successful bids, proposals and tenders
*Experience of successfully growing a profitable L&D consulting function
