The VP of Sales will manage, develop and implement successful a strategic business plan for the sales of professional haircare products across Europe, including all administration and employee issues.

The Position:

The VP of Sales will be responsible for establishing strong business relationships and meeting sales goals as agreed to with Management, key responsibilities to include:

* Keeping a strong handle on cost controls to insure company profitability

* Recruiting, training and managing a winning field sales team

* Performing research and analysis underpinning market selection, competitive and trend analysis and strategic market response

* Developing relationships with regional executives to ensure strategic initiatives sponsorship

* Developing presentations for key internal and external stakeholders

* Provide proactive commercial support and insight into new product launch planning and business development efforts

* Creating a multi–year sales plan aligned with company business plan and priorities

* Building and delivering a sales pipeline (including process and methodology to accurately forecast)

* Supporting company image and positioning in the market and ensure ethical compliance

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

* A minimum of 10 years' sales and business development experience in the hair and/or beauty industry, either professional or retail

* MBA or Graduate degree, or equivalent experience

* Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills

* An up–to–date knowledge of the market, consumers and competitors

* Positive communication and presentation skills

* A proven leadership and people development track record

* The ability to build a selling proposition and create win–win situations

* An entrepreneurial and opportunist spirit
