CTO (Chief Technical Officer)

CTO required for a leading PE backed Education company.

The salary is competitive with an excellent benefits package and equity options.

The role can be based anywhere in the UK but will require some monthly travel to London for Board meetings etc.

My client are looking to take a very manual education business into the digital age and truly becoming and Ed Tech business. They have secured PE investment and are looking for a CTO to lead the development of the technology stack

They need a CTO who is passionate about technology, that can come in, quickly get to grips with the current IT land scape, upgrading the infrastructure and building a cutting edge digital platform to sit on top. You'll have complete autonomy to build a high performance team that can deliver an interactive platform with lots of content, libraries, videos, testing etc. This platform will allow the client to take all their services online, scaling both domestically and internationally.

You'll need to have a solid commercial appreciation of the education sector as you'll be expected to support on some of the product work as they convert these to an online format.
