Strive Supply Chain are a leading management recruitment consultancy, specialising in Supply Chain, Production, Planning, Logistics, Transport & Warehouse Operations.
We are delighted to be recruiting for a leading 3rd party supplier to the automotive & engineering sector at their state–of–the–art operation in Wiltshire. They are now looking for a Logistics Planner to join the supply chain team.
Supply Chain Project manager – GBP35k + bens + prospects
This is a key role where you will be the link between our client, an international logistics organisation & their many clients to review & improve the warehouse & transport services provided.
Summary:
Preparation, recording and evaluation of data, identifying trends quickly and accurately
Analysis, planning and delivery of processes
Use of data to plan cost effective, efficient services and operational viability
Monitoring the use of resources and progress of projects.
Participate in project meetings
Ensure that information is researched & shared
Liaise and work with suppliers and external service providers to maximise services
Ideal candidate:
Demonstrable experience of successful logistics/production planning
Understanding of fleet transport and warehousing operations
Commercial awareness and customer focus
Advanced user of MS Excel and competent in MS Office.
Experience of Auto Cad
High level of mathematical skills with the ability and competence in data interrogation
Analytical and planning skills
