Project Manager
National Grid substation works
Hull, Humberside
GBP350 per day
14–16 weeks
Immediate start
I currently have an opportunity for a Civils biased Project Manager to join a well–established, independent service provider which specialises in the provision of Construction and Civil Engineering within the National Grid and Utility sectors.
This opportunity is on a 14 to 16 week assignment on a Limited Company basis.
Your responsibilities will be:
– Project managing the civils construction activities such as drainage and flood defense wall construction
– Chairing and attending progress meetings with the client and subcontractors on–site.
– Attending site walkouts with client
– Managing multiple relationships
– Managing programme of works
– Overseeing the outputs of the site team, via the Site Manager
You will need:–
– SMSTS
– Strong civil engineering experience ideally within a substation or flood defense environment
– National Grid or Northern Power Grid or Western Power Distribution experience
– Checkable work history and testimonials
