Team4You are delighted to be working on behalf of our Prestigious client based out of the centre of Shrewsbury. Our forward thinking and ambitious client currently has an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with experience in Quantity Surveying to join their ever expanding team.
As the Project Manager you will be responsible for the control and performance of designated projects, as well as ensuring that the project is able to deliver target revenue and bottom line margin.
Responsibilities of the role:
* Overseeing 2/3 sites mainly in the Social Housing sector.
* Negotiate and forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
* Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
* Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
* Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
* Measure and value the work done on site
* Oversee legalities and contractual information
* Pay subcontractors
* Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, Client managers and site engineers
* Select and/or source construction materials
* Write reports and run monthly on–site meetings
Desirables:
* Experience working as a Project Manager on multiple sites
* A background in Quantity Surveying and estimating
* Knowledge of Social Housing
