Permanent Hedge Accounting Manager required for my prestigious Financial Service client based in Coventry. Directly reporting into the Head of Reporting. Working within a team of five, this role will be a senior position within the team, and will be responsible for mentoring and coaching the team. This is a a new and exciting role.
To be considered for this position, you will be a Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA/ CIMA) or qualified by experience with substantial post qualification experience. Experience of treasury and hedge accounting is imperative, and also experience of preparing statutory financial reporting. Good interpersonal skills are key, and any previous management experience is advantageous.
The focus of this role will be to prepare and review the month end close activities for treasury and hedge accounting, including preparing and reviewing journal postings and reconciliations. You will also take responsibility for month end management reporting, and preparation of year end financial statements disclosures. Any sector experience will be considered. If you have worked within a large practice or Plc environment- please apply!
