An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experience & Qualified Financial Controller to join a successful commercial business in Central Scotland.
Purpose:
The successful candidate will join a forward thinking business where the primary function of this role will be to manage / develop a finance team and provide financial support to commercial teams and distinct business units; ensuring the production of timely and accurate financial reporting information

The successful candidate will possess a professional accounting qualification as well as experience of ERP. implementation. An important element of this role will also be to manage a small team; therefore people management of a finance team would be preferable.

Purpose:
The successful candidate will join a forward thinking business where the primary function of this role will be to manage / develop a finance team and provide financial support to commercial teams and distinct business units; ensuring the production of timely and accurate financial reporting information
Core Responsibilities:
- Production of high quality and accurate monthly management accounts and business unit performance reports in line with financial reporting timetables.
- Assisting business units in the preparation of budgets and quarterly rolling forecasts, offering assistance where necessary.
- Monitoring of budgets/forecasts with business units on a monthly basis.
- Preparing and monitoring cashflow analysis.
- Leading and developing a small finance team
- Continual review of cash flow position and forecasts for the group including debt monitoring.
- Developing and maintaining existing excel financial models
- Ensuring tax compliance across the group including preparation, review and submission of VAT, CIS and Corporation Tax returns
- Supporting the business and Finance Director in driving continued improvement of management reporting
- Taking a lead in an ERP implementation project across the business.
- Assistance in ad hoc projects across the wider group of companies as necessary
Desired Experience:
